Job Duties: The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and local experience in the property tax industry or will have commercial real estate sales experience in New England. Excellent telephone skills, effective communication capabilities, and the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of targeted clients, prospects and colleagues are also required. The candidate must possess the ability to work productively in a team environment; demonstrate success with administrative, management and organizational skills; and be CRM and Microsoft Office proficient. Paradigm Tax Group, a national state and local tax consulting firm is considering the addition of a full-time administrative person in its Los Angeles, CA Office. Property tax or real estate experience is extremely beneficial, but not totally necessary. Candidate must be knowledgeable with Access, Word, Excel, Outlook and general office equipment. Must be bright, quick learner, organized, able to meet deadlines, follow instructions, work independently, and deal with clients and governmental bureaucracies.
Primary duties will include handling requests from PTG personnel, clients and Assessor Offices, obtaining tax bills, researching information with taxing jurisdictions, forwarding mail, filing, data tracking, handling various duties within the company. Due to the nature of the business, on the job training is the most effective manner in which to learn the duties of the position and certain aspects of the process. Individual will need to be a self-starter, learn by working close with PTG personnel, reading user and procedure manuals, making phone calls, internet research and being persistent.
